Tail Gunner - Online Arcade Game

In this online arcade shooting game, enemy spaceships are pursuing your space cruiser. You are the tail gunner and it is your job shoot them down before they get close enough to fire at you. Your shields will protect you but they can only take so much damage. Once they are reduced to zero, you are in big trouble.

Click in the game area with your mouse or hit the 'S' key to start. Use your mouse to sight an approaching enemy spaceship in your cross-hairs. A target box will light up when an enemy spaceship is in your sights, showing the craft's closing speed and range. Click the mouse button to fire.

There are four types of enemy spaceships:- F15 Fighter (brown) you score 125 points for destroying these. F17A Advanced Tactical Fighter (green) you score 150 points for destroying these. F21 Fighter/Bomber you score 100 points for destroying these. SF-111 Interceptor (cyan) you score 250 points for destroying these.

Whenever an enemy fighter gets past you, it will fire on your spaceship. You will see the screen flash and shake if they score a hit. Watch your shields - when they go, so do you.

You can pause the game at any time by hitting the 'P' key. Hit again to resume. Use the 'M' key to toggle sound on and off.
